E.Scott Kennedy studied art and marine science at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys all aspects of water recreation: boating, fishing, paddle-boarding, snorkeling and diving for lobster. Scott has been painting marine life for many years, but only recently began showing and selling his work to the public.
Scott’s passion for marine conservation led him to the Ocean Artist Society, a group of artist using ocean art to inspire people around the world to a greater awareness of the need to protect the natural world. In 2018, Scott was awarded membership in the OAS.
In 2020, Scott was invited to show his work at Piper Gallery and Studio is located in Pompano Beach, Florida adjacent to the Hillsboro Inlet and Historic Hillsboro Lighthouse.
Scott and his wife Hope now live on the nature coast of Florida enjoying the freshwater springs and near shore Gulf of Mexico by Stand-up Paddle-board and by boat.
